You wouldn't believe it, we even do fish and chips, much praised by our English and Asian customers. We use only the best ingredients, and when we serve it, it is freshly cooked, crisp and steaming hot, not lukewarm or soggy like what uncle brings from the take-away. Therefore, even for something as commonplace as fish and chips, the Shahi Qila must be your restaurant of choice.

If you have visitors from London, Leicester, Loughborough or Birmingham, show them that Blackburn is not in the middle of nowhere (as they like to believe). Take them to the Shahi Qila and let them experience the unbeaten quality of the Asian food that Blackburn has to offer.

We can even rival the skills of our colleagues in London. Last year (2006) we took part in a competition aimed at finding the best South Asian cooking in the UK, reached the finals at the famous Bellamy restaurant in the House of Commons and came away with the much coveted Tiffin medal, which you can admire in the banner (right) of this website.

If you have visitors from India or Pakistan, take them here for a meal and show them that Blackburn can compete with the best the subcontinent has to offer. They don't have to feel sorry for you for having to live in this cold country. They will envy you for the good food you can get so cheaply at the Shahi Qila Restaurant.
