Our restaurant was the first authentic Asian restaurant in our catchment area (Blackburn, Preston, Burnley, Clitheroe, Nelson). Before we came along, there was no buffet restaurant and there was not so much choice.

Logo of Halal Monitoring CommitteeWe were the first HMC approved restaurant in the area. The HMC is the Halal Monitoring Committee, whose approval guarantees that the food served in a restaurant is really halal.

Mercifully we situated off the main road, in a palatial villa which used to belong (like the neighbouring properties) to a family of rich Blackburn industrialists and later became the home of the Club of Polish Ex-soldiers (Polish Combatants Association, also known as Polish Ex-Combatants Association). There is no traffic noise in our street, and our building, like its neighbours, is situated in spacious grounds shaded by large trees. You could not wish for a more peaceful and elegant environment.
